Solid Ink Technology
Introduced more than 15 years ago, Xerox’s solid ink technology is an affordable option for businesses looking to add outstanding colour to their documents. The process utilizes solid ink sticks instead of the fluid ink or toner cartridges typically used in printers. After the ink stick is loaded into the printing device, it is melted and used to produce images on paper in a process very similar to offset printing.
